Our signature string set in a slightly lighter gauge

It sounds too simple to be true: a little bit heavier than nines; a little bit lighter than 10s! Well, it's exactly what they are.

We first played Curt Mangan strings late in 2018. Our friend Matt Schofield had been telling us forever how much we’d like them and we just thought, “Ah, strings are strings are strings…”

And then we tried some...

The decision was instant – a combination of a lovely smooth feel, intuitive bendability and above all, great tone. We ordered a few boxes and started using them on all our guitars, before deciding that some tweaks to the standard gauges would be cool… and this little idea came to fruition!

Dan's regular set is 11-52 while Mick's is 10.5-50. We've had feedback from people saying they'd like to try them just a little lighter, so we set to work.

In fact Mick really likes these on a Strat for a bit more Jimi vibe than his standard set. Spanky!
